Fire Stopping Work – 35 bed Care Home
A compartmentation survey only identifies the failure points (breaches) in the fire-resisting structure, making the subsequent fire stopping work absolutely critical. Without remedial fire stopping, the breaches—like unsealed gaps around pipes and cables—remain open pathways for fire and smoke to spread rapidly. We were commissioned by a 35 bed care home in the South East London area to carry out fire stopping work after a previous compartmenation survey identified potential breaches and cracks in the walls and floors.
