We were asked to deliver fire safety training to the managers of a seven-storey residential block in South London. The session covered fire prevention measures, including housekeeping and electrical safety, along with detection systems like smoke alarms and heat detectors. We discussed suppression options, such as sprinklers and extinguishers, and guided them through conducting effective fire risk assessments. Evacuation procedures were tailored to the building’s layout and occupants. Following the training, managers felt better equipped to manage fire safety responsibilities confidently and proactively.
