Fire Risk Assessment, High Rise Flats

We were asked by the property managers of a 20-storey residential high-rise to carry out a fire risk assessment. We identified key issues including blocked escape routes, poor compartmentation, and outdated fire doors. Vertical fire spread through shafts and cladding was a concern. We recommended upgrading fire doors, installing sprinklers, improving signage, and conducting regular drills. Resident safety briefings and clear emergency plans were also advised to reduce overall fire risk..
